Saturday was an amazing day! About 60 volunteers gathered to help us get ready for our spring and summer of ministry. Wow, we got so much done. Thank you to all of you that came out! We installed new floors in our pastors' cabin, installed new doors in our dining hall, cleaned tons of landscaping, and installed new lights in our meeting room. This is more work than we could have done on our own all year. Thank you!
If any other groups are looking for a local missions project, we always have more work to be done. Please give us a call.

The Piankatank crew was very blessed this week to attend a CCCA (Christian Camp and Conference) conference in North Carolina. We returned spiritually renewed and with lots of development ideas for the camp. Ready for another great year of ministry.

Highlights from Winterblast 2025! Our theme for the weekend was ‘Darkness to Light’ from 1 Peter 2:9-10. Our campers enjoyed an epic weekend full of fun, adventure, and diving deep into God’s word together. Thank you to everyone who made this weekend such huge success.

A very special thank you to our wonderful staff. They put in many hours of hard work and always did it with a smile and a heart for service. Also thank you to the about 10 Liberty University students that came and volunteered.

Join a summer of ministry, on a team that supports you. We're looking for passionate people. People that enjoy working outdoors and with kids.
Camp Counselor Requirements:
Ages 16+ for day camp staff
Ages 18+ for overnight camp staff
The summer 2025 contract dates are June 1 - August 3. Positions are paid, with training certifications, housing, and meals also provided. Plus, experience the friendships of a Christian community serving together.

Winter Blast is coming! Don't miss it! Our winter retreat for ages 12-17. February 14-16. Help your teens get a spiritual reset in the winter months. Come with a friend or meet a new friend when you get here. Campers will get to do lots of camp activities and focus on our message theme of "Darkness to Light".

Sometimes it's hard to ask for help. But we've learned that if we don't ask, people won't know how to help us. Today we're here saying, "We need some help!" We currently have a large list of projects that need to be done to maintain and improve the camp property. We cannot do it alone! Perhaps you have been looking for a way to use your skills to glorify God and grow his Kingdom.
We are planning March 8 to be a designated volunteer work day. Starting at 7:00am. We will feed volunteers lunch and dinner. We provide all of the supplies. Give us a call to tell us about your skills and we can match you with a task. The big jobs include wood working/repair, electrical, painting, and trimming bushes/trees. We will put the list in the comments here.
