The Spirit of Camp
At camp, spiritual growth is nurtured through meaningful connections and shared experiences. Campers are exploring the Bible and engage in age-appropriate worship experiences that foster a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationship with God. Daily worship services as well as individual devotionals a deep part of life here. Staff are trained to lead spiritual discussions in daily camp experiences.
Canoeing
Experience the thrill of canoeing on the picturesque Piankatank River. It's a perfect way to connect with nature and create unforgettable memories with friends.
Target Sports
Unleash your inner archer at our archery range. Or, depending on your age, try your hand at knife and ax throwing. Learn the art of precision and focus while having a blast with your fellow campers. Our trained instructors ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone.
Swimming Fun
Dive into our refreshing swimming pool for hours of splashing and laughter. Whether you're perfecting your strokes or just cooling off, our lifeguards are on duty to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all.
Camp Adventures
Embark on a journey of excitement with our summer camp program. From team-building challenges to water filled fun, there's something for everyone. Our program fosters faith and personal growth in a spirit of fun and adventure.
Below are a sample of the activities your camper could possibly participate in depending on their age and camp program they signed up for. Weather can also change our plans.
The only activities that have an extra cost are "add-ons"- Paintball and fishing charter.
River Riders is considered it's own program, with totally separate cost/schedule.
Climb the Rock Wall
Join us this summer for an exciting rock climbing adventure at camp! Experience the thrill of scaling our safe and fun climbing walls while building confidence and teamwork with friends!
River Riders Camp
Experience the thrill of beginners horseback riding during River Riders, where adventure awaits at every turn. Build confidence as you bond with four legged and two legged friends.
River Riders is only offered June 22-27. Camp Piankatank does not own horses, campers are driven to a local ranch for several hours Monday-Thursday. RR join the main camp program when not at the horse ranch.
Fishing Charter
Camp Weeks 2, 4, and 6 are given the opportunity to add a fishing charter experience to their camp week. We join a professional charter out of local Deltaville for a half day of fishing in the local rivers. $70 extra fee applies. Dependent on weather.
Island Camp Out
Camp Piankatank owns Berkeley Island, located just off our shores. A true outdoor experience. Camping on an island offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, surrounded by the soothing sounds of waves and rustling leaves. Experience breathtaking sunrises and sunsets while enjoying the great outdoors.
Camp Traditions
At camp, we cherish our traditions like gathering around the campfire, where stories and laughter unite us under the stars. Our skit night brings everyone together for unforgettable moments filled with fun. Dockside service holds many special spiritual moments for many campers over the years.
Paintball
Paintball is an exhilarating team sport that combines strategy, skill, and adrenaline. Whether you're a seasoned player or a first-timer, the thrill of dodging pellets and outsmarting your opponents makes for an unforgettable experience.
Paintball is an optional "add-on" experience for $25.
Team Building
Join an exciting team building activity that promises to strengthen our bonds and enhance collaboration. Together, we'll engage in fun challenges and create lasting memories while boosting our teamwork skills!
Ropes Course
Experience the thrill of adventure by conquering the zipline, v-swing, or Nessie; where you can challenge yourself both physically and mentally. Embrace the excitement of navigating through the treetops while enjoying breathtaking views and building lasting memories with friends.
Free Time Fun
Enjoying free time at camp is all about making unforgettable memories with friends. Whether it's an exhilarating game of GAGA ball, playing games, basketball, volleyball, frisbee golf, or simply relaxing, every moment is an opportunity for adventure and laughter.
